Triskelion
Beltane Blessings!
This triskelion came through intuitively, and was the piece that set the tone for me to trust my creative instincts this season.
The triskelion or triple spiral, is an ancient symbol representing cycles, processes, and the triple goddess: maiden-mother-crone. Its roots are neolithic and bronze age Europe, predating christianity and patriarchy. I love both circles and triangles, and this is one major reason why they are often incorporated into my work.
Different shapes, symbols, and archetypes help us to think in less linear ways and trust in wisdoms that are not spoken in words.
All of the pieces in the spring 2025 collection were crafted while I was in sādhanā (dedicated spiritual practice), and are also impregnated with mantra and my own blessings of protection.
Attached to a dainty 16” sterling chain.
